It has been a while since I posted about the new modern way, of technology integration, in schools, so let me take a moment to share this poster (see picture). Upon recently visiting another high school, Fitchburg High School, in Fitchburg, Mass. I was impressed by this poster, which hangs in their main lobby. I like some of these ideas. I must share that a common theme, among many teacher conversations around technology, at least at the high school level, is that it seems all too common now, that our teenagers walk around always watching movies, tv shows, videos on social media, or are busy with video games. I've heard more than one colleague say "God forbid I interrupt him during his movie-watching." In short, I think that school districts would do well, to provide some rules for students, with their use of technology; right now, it feels like 100% total freedom. Thanks to Fitchburg High, for these rules (see picture). --
